Considering that NOMOS Club is a very famous series, you would expect this limited edition to have a different dial, or maybe a new strap or bracelet. You are right, partly correct. A closer look at the specifications of this limited edition reveals that Atelier DE GRIFF not only seeks to create a beautiful iteration of the small 36mm NOMOS, but also improves its performance in the process.
From the outside, little has changed. We still get a 36mm wide 8.2mm ultra-thin fully polished stainless steel case. These sizes make for a very comfortable watch, as we experienced with the NOMOS Club Campus Absolute Gray and Future Orange that use the same case. However, the change in the case lies in its robustness. Atelier DE GRIFF and NOMOS have worked hand in hand to increase the water resistance from the generally acceptable 100 meters to the very popular 200 meters, which tends to be sports watches in terms of specifications. This is achieved by using double washers in the crown system.

Atelier DE GRIFF x NOMOS Club 36 LE is equipped with the first ever black dial for the 36mm Club series. Finished with a fine sun brush, sparkling in the light. It is printed with a subtle gray outline and a large amount of Super-LumiNova. The familiar NOMOS Club 36 sword-shaped pointer also has a dose of Super-LumiNova. There is a recessed small seconds subdial at 6 o'clock, with a white printed 60-second scale and red hands.
Normally, NOMOS Club 36 uses the brand's internal Alpha movement. However, the brand cooperated with Atelier DE GRIFF to equip the manual winding Alpha movement with the NOMOS Swing System in the internally developed DUW movement. It can be identified by the blue hairspring, and you can see this feature from the sapphire crystal back cover.
