A lot of World of Warcraft
wow classic gold fans are excited for WoW Classic because they're nostalgic for vanilla WoW. A good deal of PSO fans are not nostalgic for PSO2 since they never had the chance to play it when it had been promised to people. The logic is straightforward: Classic lovers have a reason to be excited about their previous sport. PSO2 fans have gotten nothing from Sega until today. Here's an example to help clarify. Say they nowhere else This MMO includes a huge English-speaking following and published GW2 or some other MMO.
Seven decades later they choose to release it to their English-speaking lovers after having promised they'd do for years. Can you feel as eager to play with an old, tired match after that long? You can be excited about any hot garbage that you want to get excited about. I'm simply clarifying for OP why fans are excited to play their game that is aged over another and how nostalgia functions.
When we took a poll of gamers I'd bet most have no clue what PSO2 is. WoW may not be the powerhouse it had been years ago, but just having it on the front page of Twitch daily, would give it recognition among those people who have never and will never play it. Just like you mentioned, PSO2 never came. Reddit is mostly english-based and hefty on NA. OP is a bit lost, I think. As I mentioned previously, I don't think PSO2 appears bad. Much to the contrary, it is character style system and a number of its own outfits really do hold up.
That said, it's kind of like DQX. There is a set of hardcore fans that would absolutely jump at the chance to play it at the west, but many others that simply feel daunted by SE rather than bringing it within the first location. It's worse for PSO2 because Sega made many promises and had a website for the English model, and we've been strung together with empty promises for this long. You shouldn't care what this sub believes. PSO2 is a game that has become better over time. I am certain that there'll be issues with licensing, censorship, and translations but Phantasy Star Online 2 is still great and worth playingwith.
The upside of the f2p genre is the huge playerbase
classic wow gold and ability to try a purposeful part (in some cases arguably ) of Phantasy Star Online 2 for free. The downside is the cash store. The upside of the version is invested and much more severe tone of the in-game products, and the dearth of both p2w. We get the b2p using a promise for no p2w they wait till they've sold all. Any company that does this even once should be spurned forever- I am kinda at the point where we should really require a preexisting track record of actually doing this by any firm before anyone thinks them or does anything except mock them.
