So far as I am aware that there are no items in OSRS currently which are unobtainable (in theory) if I managed to make an original account today. However, how can you understand that? You're currently assuming it is impossible without understanding the way the reward system works. So from its sound, Ironmen should have the ability to work towards the benefits without it being impossible.
Additionally, you are being somewhat contradicting. It's not"really impossible" for ironmen to get if everybody has the exact same chance. If that's the way it works an Ironman can grind the league like any main and be the first to finish jobs that are enough to buy a decorative. So how can that"actually impossible" and not"almost impossible"? If one ironman can obtain it, then it isn't actually impossible and you contradict your own argument against it; it might just be like grinding full third era.

If you do not participate in the championship, it's like if you didn't do clues; you're choosing to not perform. However, a choice not to do something does not mean it is"actually impossible".
