RuneScape gold share my expertise as a brand new participant both in RuneScape sport and on this subreddit. I'm relatively new to this subreddit, but I seldom see posts coming from newer gamers (I understand there are probably more long term players versus newer gamers, but our voice needs to be heard also!) My very best friend and I started to play RuneScape since Covid has us locked down. We've never touched RuneScape within our high school years, but we definitely knew what it had been because a lot of our other classmates played with it at the moment.
Our experience has been great so far! There's definitely an overwhelming quantity of content and items to learn that can be confusing sometimes, but after performing many searches on wiki and trial and error, we are getting a fantastic foothold on matters. The people we have struck in RuneScape sport were mostly very friendly and were prepared to describe a lot of things to us! This came from support through a clan we joined and only random interaction with other players. With all these positive interactions, my friend and I decided to see what was going on in the RuneScape subreddit.
The majority of the top upvoted posts are simply toxic complaints regarding RuneScape and Jagex for a company. The comments are even worse even on apparently positive articles from Moderators, the comment section is filled with negativity entirely unrelated to what the Mod'd posted. I know that gamers should voice their ideas on the condition of RuneScape, however, that is merely overwhelming negativity that forms a community that is hazardous. Again, this really is my MY point of view as an outsider looking in (outsider in a feeling that I'm new to the subreddit and newish to RuneScape).
Maybe it's because I am a brand new player so I am not influenced by all'lack of content' and'bugs' in RuneScape game. But I want to allowy'all know that this community CAN push away prospective customers that are new. My friend pointed out that when we seen this subreddit BEFORE we started playing, there is a good chance we might have skipped over RuneScape. And he's totally right, when trying to find a new game, the very first thing we head to is the ratings. If we watched how the top general posts were mostly complaints regarding RuneScape, we'd have moved on to another game. I realize that there is a weekly thread (Monday Feedback), so why not keep most of the complaints there?
I still greatly enjoy playing, but I will definitely unsub out for a short time. I honestly think it's really unhealthy for novice players to continue having to view negative posts about RuneScape. This is a throwaway account since I know this post will be downvoted to hell for expressing an unpopular view and also because I make up a smaller subset of
