How much I'd have to bar for 99 Smithing, and the amount of
OSRS Gold money it would cost. Approx. 27M or about. I'll need around 75,000 Gold ore for 95-99, which is equivalent to 16M. When I sell all my bars this will amount to 28M, so I'll make about 11-12M profit.
I think this is correct, but it's a bit confusing when I was thinking of it all in my head. Also, I was exhausted because it was like 4:30AM. In addition, I did not consider the possible amount of that could be made if I trade the Gold ore up front instead of using it to learn Smithing, so that probably resulted in more confusion for me.
This isn't the most efficient method, but it's the method I use and it's a success. It's also pretty cheap in the right way, at least I make profit on every trip (not so much, but it's still profit). Black dragonhide legs and top (I typically use what's left of the prayer points I have to take out Ahrim however if for any reason I've run out of the PP I'm using when fighting Ah this time. Black dragonhide comes in handy.)
If you are wondering why I take a Prayer potion it's in the event I develop a DH tunnel. It is recommended to always be praying when you fight DH because he's known to strike pretty hard. I usually have a KC that is 20 or less, but it doesn't help getting Barrow things more frequently but it aids in getting more racks, runes or whatever. You can use the ecto when you have gotten the chest looted, recharge your prayer points on Temple altar (I did not remember the name but I'm pretty sure you know what I'm talking about.
Take a trip to Karil first. Ask for prayer of attack as well as strength prayers. Also, be sure to shield yourself from danger, and strike him with your unique attacks. Finish him off by using the ice spell. Run out. Go to
Buy Old School RuneScape Gold Ahrim. You'll have around 30 prayer points. Switch to range gear, pray magic (and your eagle eye if are blessed with it). Go out when he's dead.
