The Gordon Research Seminars provide a unique opportunity for young researchers in all disciplines, from all over the world, to meet and discuss novel developments in rapidly changing scientific and engineering fields. This seminar will be the first Gordon Research Seminar (GRS) dedicated to robotics and will highlight the potential impact of cutting-edge robotics research on medicine and healthcare.
Our aim is to bring together innovative, interdisciplinary thinkers in to share ideas about the most pressing and meaningful problems that robotics researchers will need to overcome in the next decade in order to transform our approach to human health. Building a network of young roboticists who are fluent in cross-cutting research themes will create a foundation for advancing the field of robotics far into the future with profound implications for medical care.
Application Instructions
The seminar will feature approximately 10 talks and 2 poster sessions. All attendees are expected to actively participate in the GRS, either by giving an oral presentation or presenting a poster. Therefore, all applications must include an abstract.
The seminar chair will select speakers from abstracts submitted by May 15, 2022. Those applicants who are not chosen for talks and those who apply after the deadline to be considered for an oral presentation will be expected to present a poster. In order to participate, you must submit an application by the date indicated in the Application Information section above.
