Their defense has generated a lot of turnovers, including four against the Breakers, while Mark Thompson has proven to be one of the best running backs in the league.The Maulers are built similarly to the Gamblers in that they would like to rely on their defense and running game to carry them. However, Kirby Wilson's squad has yet to win, as quarterbacks Kyle Lauletta and Josh Love (who has since been released) have struggled while the Garrett Groshek and Madre London tag team hasn't been as productive as they had hoped at running back. Maybe going against Clayton Thorson and a weaker pa sing offense will help the Maulers, but there's a reason that they remain the USFL's lone winle s team.
