Vans Old Skool Discount
Concepts and Vans are continuing their long-standing collaborative relationship with a brand-new
Vans Old Skool Womens inspired by the culture surrounding Times Square in the 1970s. Entitled the “Forty Deuce” (slang for NYC’s 42nd Street), the sneaker features a bleached black denim and cracked black leather upper with a debossed Concepts logo on the heel pad and waxed black laces. A black midsole and classic black Vans outsole round off the shoe’s throwback aesthetic.
Vans‘ flame designs have always enjoyed a great deal of popularity due to their whimsical nature and head-turning style, and now the California-based brand has added a fiery new “Flame Wall” touch to three of their most iconic
sneakers: the
Vans Old Skool Mens, the Authentic, and the
Vans Old Skool for Sale. All three silhouettes offer a blacked-out upper that shifts focus to the red, orange, and yellow detailing that adorns the otherwise-black midsole. Red/black heel branding and a classic Vans gum outsole finishes off the shoe’s look.
The
Vans Old Skool Cheap and Sk8-Hi are built with leather and suede panels, the iconic checkerboard pattern on the medial side, and the distinct red Vans stripe to reflect the retailer’s chief color. Further notes of homage are seen on the lace-tips, which feature “Bascom”, and 25th Anniversary insoles.
Vans’ unique ability to add new and refreshing patterns to its canvas-ridden uppers is largely unmatched. Year in and year out, the Anaheim-based skate brand remixes its time-tested staples with the implementation of playful patterns the likes of its Peanuts collection, its Marvel’s Avengers capsule, and its numerous Mickey Mouse-ridden creations to name a few. Now, the Vans Era, Vans Slip-On, and
Vans Old Skool Discount silhouettes are calling upon a Romantic Floral aesthetic with black, blue, and red bases aided by white roses, which is commonly used as a symbol for love and affection to further its incredible arsenal.
