I believe that the matter isn't that RS3 doesn't progress, it is that they have basically broken player progression so interesting training methods don't matter. RS3 releases some pretty big updates every once in
OSRS gold a while but just how much it is actually used and appreciated?
Partly the matter is also perhaps that RS3 simply does not quite take thoughts far enough to make them something amazing. Think Shattered Worlds - folks were super excited about it but it just fell short of becoming something really amazing. Subsequently Jagex only kinda goes on to another thing, which can be often half-baked. It is mostly crap mobs. It may have been really exciting if we got lots of fresh, exciting, powerful monsters to combat but instead we got boring crap. Like it was this close though,y'understand?
And I believe OSRS has reduced standards for what's an exciting upgrade anyway, most players are only doing their thing and if they don't get upgrades for a little while it isn't a big deal because they intend to grind for hundreds of hours doing exactly the exact same thing and they're pleased to do that. Should they get some new way to spend hundreds of hours every once in a while it's a welcomed thing. On RS3 although it's kinda like... Eh. 99s are really simple, so in case a new training procedure isn't super good money and/or AFK what's even the point to most people? Similar story with things, OSRS players actually have a sensible desire for lower grade weaponry because people are not all level 99 within their battle stats so it's simple to add things that have a larger effect. Not to mention PVP is a thing, so some arbitrary weird weapon could become the focus of an entire account.
There's also an understanding of RS3 not getting many upgrades, but it gets some pretty massive upgrades and if it will capture those huge updates it introduces a whole lot of things. Idk, there's so many variables at play and it is hardly"RS3 does not advance." And it is a sizable piece of
Old School RuneScape Gold skilling content comparable to Changing Tombs, it probably is actually bigger and much more interesting than Tombs too.
Upping slayer to 120 even with what's there now still feels dull and lacking in material. Dead content construction and watertodt, really nice indeed lul.
